Myofascial massage
This massage is used both for preventive treatment of stiffness and contracture of muscles. This technique works on the fascia (connective tissue resistance, which covers the muscle bellies, unites them to each other and allows the mutual flow) through the tractions and compressions that are performed at the level of painful areas and muscle areas in its entirety.

The main indications are represented by contractures and muscle extensibility, scarring (fibrosis and adhesions interfascial), the presence of reduced joint mobility.

The benefits of myofascial massage are to increase the blood supply, improve the venous and lymphatic flow, to restore smoothness to the tissues and then to change the perception of stiffness and pain. It is a slow and rhythmic massage, very localized to the affected area, with the fingers of the re-education plans move below the skin, engaging and moving them across the line of the affected tissue.
